I listened to it at a friends last weekend. Difficult to work out Hunter's contribution on first hearing. As usual Dylan's voice sounds best on the world-weary songs. I haven't bought a new release by Dylan (excluding 'Bootleg Series) since Desire, and I don't feel an urgent need to own this one. Shouldn't he be doing a show with Dead as part of the current tour for old times sake ?

I like modern times and from what I've heard so far I think I'll like this one...nice idea him supporting the dead but he's on tour as usual...playing liverpool tonight...

he's on the road this summer with willie nelson and john mellencamp doing smaller baseball stadiums (double aa type places). cheap tix - family fun out with the old guys (and that "young" johny cougar kid)
